Mahanjumati ya Uswahilini…Mwanamke kupewa mwiko ni kupikia, ustaadi wa chakula unatakikana, sio kujipodoa tu, mwiko dada, kupikia mahanjumati…

Mgeni wetu wa leo ametuandalia kababu za mayai, usiachwe nyuma, sitaki uchekwe!!

Chemsha nyama yako ya ¾ kg na madawa (spices) kama pilipili manga, mdalasini wa unga kijiko kidogo kimoja, weka na pilipili ya kuwasha ikate vipande vidogo vidogo, ndimu moja nzima kamulia na chumvi kiasi.

Ikaushe kwa moto mpaka iwe kavu.

Ikisha kauka nyama yako, iwache ipoe.

Chemsha mayai kisha yatoe magamba, kwa muda huo, itakuwa nyama pia imeshapoa.

Chukua mkate, kwa lugha ya kimombo ( ordinary sliced bread), uweke kwenye maji kidogo kisha ukamue yale maji uweke katika ile nyama.

Fanya kidogo kidogo huku ukichanganya ile nyama na mkate kama kababu.

Tumia vipande (slices) nne za mkate mpaka ujishike vizuri kwenye nyama yako ya kima.

Fanya vidonge, utie yai ndani.

Piga yai moja zima kwenye sahani, tia chumvi kiasi na pilipili manga kwa juu, kijiko nusu.

Choma zile vidonge kama katlesi.

Jifurahie kwa chatni ya nazi ama pilipili ya kukaanga…
